The Genealogy Geek's Research Basic Rate:  $25.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.

This fee includes research time and consultation.

Additional costs may be charged for copying, postage, purchasing of documents (birth/death certificates,) etc.

The amount of time spent on genealogy research is dependent on the availability of genealogy records and the geographic area that needs to be researched. Some states and countries records are easier to access than others and some documents provide limited information. 

The cost will depend on the depth of research you are expecting. Once I have reviewed your request and spoken to you regarding the expected outcome, I can give you with a proposed genealogy fee.
